Andy's Playground Initiative

 

In August 2016, APCF along with the community of Fort Saskatchewan were so proud to complete Andy's vision of a safe and fun playground at the Dow Centennial Slo-Pitch Diamonds. This is a place that will help benefit all of the community as well as recognize an exceptional young man’s spirit.

 

While a playground encourages families to participate in the community it also provides the children a safe and fun environment to explore their imagination through active play. Through the eyes of a child, a playground transforms into a world without limits; the deck becomes a pirate ship; the slide a dragon’s tail; monkey bars now tree tops of a vast rainforest. It will be a place where laughter will echo and Andy’s legacy will continue to touch many lives in the community.
